Candy Crush, Crumble & Cardigans – what we're loving this week

This week I'm loving...

Hi – Kate here. Here’s what I’m loving this week…

  1. Gossip Girl – okay okay I know I’m late to the party here but having just started watching it on Netflix, I’m well and truly hooked. Treat yourself to the full Gossip Girl boxset here, but no spoilers please!

  2. Ed Sheeran – with Mr Ginger himself currently playing a series of sell out gigs across the country I’ve found myself plugging into him on the morning commute. There’s no denying the boy’s got talent! Have you heard his latest album?

  3. Winter Pimms – Pimms at any time of year is a great idea don’t get me wrong. But sometimes it does feel strange to be chopping up my strawberries with the rain battering my window. Not to fear, I have the answer… Winter Pimms. Now I’ve got a Pimms for every day of the year.

  4. Crumble – falling leaves and conkers surely means it’s time for crumble. Whether you’re a blackberry, rhubarb or a classic apple fan I’ll take whatever you’ve got. But let me share with you a cheeky take on a crumble classic from one of my favourite bloggers. Trust me, it’s delicious!

  5. Chunky knit – Don’t get me wrong I love summer but there’s something about being able to pull on my favourite chunky knit jumper which never fails to put a smile on my face. Whether I’m heading out to meet friends or just having a cosy sofa day you can never go wrong with chunky knit. I’m a particular fan of the new collection!

  6. Umbrellas – Rain, rain go away… unless I’ve got a brand new umbrella. Don’t go for the dreary black handbag size model, go loud and proud, like this star print brolly from John Lewis.

  7. Massive hair – get backcombing girls massive hair is cool! Whether you’re swooping to one side or just going for a big barnet I think you look fab. Turn up the volume!

  8. Planning Christmas holidays – Is it reasonable to be excited about Christmas in October? Well, I am… booking annual leave and searching for a dream trip to Lapland to meet the man himself or maybe a ski break in a beautiful chalet? Ahhhh, Merry Christmas one and all!

  9. iPhone 6 – I haven’t quite succumbed to the lure of the iPhone 6 but I fear it’s only a matter of time. Will the iPhone 6 Plus fit in my bag let alone my pocket? What colour do I need? Will it improve my Candy Crush gaming ability? These are important questions people!
