Serve up an ace Wimbledon party that everyone will love

Anyone for tennis? Support Andy Muray with a Wimbledon party

If you’re a Wimbledon fanatic then no doubt the action so far has been keeping you on your toes. Who’d have thought that Sharipova, Nadal and Serena Williams would all be out of the tournament this early on?
It would have been so incredible if Andy Murray had won again, but it was not meant to be… following our shameful performance in the World Cup.

But still – get your friends and family over and serve up an ace Wimbledon party

Strawberries & cream - a classic Wimbledon snackWhile Pimm’s and strawberries are an essential part of all Wimbledon events, the decoration and ambiance are also important.
Have a British theme and use red, white and blue decorations. Food wise, you could have a traditional English tea with cucumber sandwiches, fruit scones, strawberries and cream (obviously) – all washed down with tea and Pimm’s.
Time for a game of tennisOr get everyone to pick a tennis player and dress up as them or their country. Use flags and multi-coloured bunting for decoration and serve food from each country that has players in the tournament.
If you’re feeling creative you could even decorate your nails to show your support for the tennis – Serena Williams is famous for her nail art (flouting the all-white Wimbledon rules), so follow her example and get painting. We’ve pinned some of our favourite Wimbledon nails and tennis themed parties to our Pinterest board.
